System Implementation by Fanisi Branding Media
Filled in for you: one above the highest number ever used in this family, including removed items. Numbers are never reused, so a code cannot clash with one already in the ERP.
A custom type must also be added to the dictionary before its code is used.
Pattern: Collection, piece, kind, then the material last. Example: Tanzanite Sofa, 3-Seater in Fabric.
Timber, boards, fabric and fixings in one figure; shop time in the other. Leave overheads out. They are applied once at factory level, not per item.
Leave the quantity blank if the whole stock sits in one place. Fill it in only when the item is split across areas.
Vendor details are stored once per company and reused. Editing them here updates that vendor everywhere.
Photos are shrunk on this device and saved with the item. They download later as a ZIP, each file named by its item code.
Nothing captured yet. Saved items appear here and survive closing the page.
Components must already be captured. If it is not in the list, capture it first, then link it here. Quantities are per one unit of the parent. Changes save instantly.
Steps run in the order shown. Times are in minutes. Setup is once per batch; run time is per one unit. Changes save instantly.
Next free codes
For creating a new item in the ERP. Tap a code to copy it. Each follows the highest number ever used in its family, including removed items, so numbers are never reused. Capture new items here first, so this list stays complete.
For the dictionary
"Copy all rows" copies tab-separated lines. Paste straight into the dictionary's Item Capture tab, columns A to Q.

Photos
Photos are copied to the web bucket automatically each time an item is saved. Start afresh empties the bucket and republishes every photo held here, under the same file names, so existing links keep working. Use it once to clean up, or if the bucket ever drifts. The links CSV gives each item code its image address for the ERP import.
Pricing
Fill SA costs gives every sub-assembly that has none a placeholder cost picked at random between those two figures, rounded to the nearest thousand and split 80% materials, 20% labour. These are guesses with nothing behind them: they are tagged as estimates, they feed BOM rollups and opening stock value, and they should be replaced as real figures are measured. Items that already have a cost are skipped.
Cost from price assumes the margin you typed is what you already make, and works the production cost backwards from the selling price, split 80% materials and 20% labour. A starting figure for every finished good without waiting on the floor. Estimated costs show a dashed outline on the card and read Estimated from price in the CSV, and that clears the moment someone enters a real figure. Price from cost goes the other way: it works out what each finished good would sell for at that margin, using its production cost. Shows you the list first and changes nothing until you choose. Remember the cost figure has no overhead in it, so treat the result as a floor, not a price list.
Backup & transfer
The session file carries everything in one file: items, photos and code counters. Copy it to a flash disk to move work between computers, or keep it as a backup. Importing adds its items here; duplicate codes are skipped.
Start a new pass
Both follow the class filter and search above, so switch to FG, SA or RM first to work on just those. Marking treats everything shown as covered; unmarking clears the ticks so the team can walk the catalogue again for something new: storage areas, costs, photos. Nothing else about an item changes. It queues one update per item, so on a slow connection give it a minute to finish syncing.
Health check
Looks for the same item code appearing more than once. Duplicates were created by an older fault where tapping Save twice pushed the item again. Shows both copies side by side with what each holds so you can keep the fuller one.
Maintenance
Both of these change or remove data. Export a session file first.
